CVT ICU and SICU

I’ve been a nurse for 8 years and worked in critical care for 7 years. I have my ccrn, csc, and tncc. I am a grad student at Rush University in the acute care program. I love to precept and teach.

It is a hybrid of office, and field settings. I have access to clients in their homes, Skilled and rehab facilities.

Focus: Provides hands-on training and mentorship to new graduate nurses or nurses transitioning into mental health, community, or geriatric nursing. Includes both classroom instruction and clinical experiences. My goals are to equip preceptees with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to provide high-quality care in their chosen specialty. I am a business owner.

Depending on program requirements, I can help offer full time hours in a medical critical care setting. I have 9 years experience with bedside nursing and have been precepting both nursing students and new graduate nurses for the last 7 years. I will help you understand the logistics of staff nursing in a hospital and review all aspects of caring for patients with a variety of critical illnesses. In alignment with my hospitals policy along with individual educational institution guidelines, I will offer as much hands on experience as possible. We will spend a lot of time practicing head to toe assessments and establishing safe care plans for each patient.
